a note of thanks for your help this summer as I learned the Electronic
Consultant software. In this
strange economy (depending on your location and weather), most competitors
have not had a good year. I’ve
just completed my analysis of summer sales and found:
1)
I quoted fewer customers than last year even though more money was
spent on advertising;
2)
My closing ratio is up;
3)
My average sale price is up;
4)
Profits are up 2.3% over the previous year;
5)
‘On the spot closings’ are up;
6)
Sales of high efficiency (equipment) are up; and
7)
Accessory sales are up.
I attribute the positive things to Adtek Software’s Electronic
Consultant. I’m more
organized, spend less time at the customer’s home, do it all in one
trip, and the presentation wins over the customer.
Just last week I closed a sale on my first trip.
The customer had one other quote and had one other competitor lined
up to visit the next afternoon. My
price was higher than the one price that the owner had received. She cancelled the ‘next day visit’ and signed my proposal
on the spot.
