Licensing ... ?

How do I move my license to a different computer?

1.  Install the software on the new computer.
2.  Select Tools->License from the main menu of the chart program on the new computer and click on the "Register Transfer" button.  You will be prompted to provide a directory.  This can be a floppy disk or a common directory on a network that both computers have access to.
3.  Select Tools->License from the main menu of the chart program on the licensed computer and click on the "Transfer Out" button.  You will be prompted to provide a directory, this needs to be the same location you used in step 2.
4.  Select Tools->License from the main menu of the chart menu on the unlicensed computer and click on the "Transfer In" button.  You will be prompted to provide a directory, this needs to be the same location you used in step 3.
That's all; licensed transferred.

I don't have a Site Code in the opening dialog box or in the license dialog box; how do I get a license?

This happens when you are on Windows NT and have not installed the NT Driver properly.
1.  Download the Windows NT Driver from our Download page.
2.  Log in to your NT System as an Administrator or User with "rights".
3.  Install the NT Driver.
4.  Configure the NT Driver (See instructions on the Download Page-NT Driver).

If you need to share the program on a network from a Windows 95, 98 computer, you must run a CrypKey network driver wckserve.exe.  You must specify the directory of the program to be shared when the driver is loaded.  This can be done either on the command line when the driver is loaded or in an environmental variable before the program is loaded. (See page 11 of the Psychrometric Chart User's Manual).

Psychrometrics ... ?

The enthalpy lines on the chart are not aligned with my printed chart.  How can I make them line up?

The reference temperature that is used for zero enthalpy is different by convention for English and metric charts.  Metric charts use a temperature of 0C (273K) for both air and water.  English charts use 0F(255.2K) for air, and 32F(273K) for water.   These temperatures can be set using the PFL configuration tool.  Select "Tools->PFL Config" from the main menu of the chart program and set the temperatures of zero enthalpy to be correct for your system of measure.
